When you open a TAB account online or using the TAB app, you’ll receive a digital customer account card.
Your TAB account card enables you to:
- Make deposits into, and withdrawals from, your TAB account at any TAB venue in Australia – please note, you can only withdraw funds from your TAB account once your account is verified.
- Place bets in TAB venues or at the track by scanning it on a self-service terminal or presenting it over the counter to a TAB operator.

If you’d like a physical account card, you can order one online at tab.com.au or using the TAB app – find out how to order a physical account card here.
When you order a physical account card – on the condition that your identity is verified – it will be sent to your residential address listed on your account within 14 business days.
Physical TAB account cards issued from December 2009 will expire 4 years after their month of issue. Your card’s expiry date appears on the front of the card above your name.
