If you like Multi betting, you're going to love Super Multi. Available now on our website or at your local TAB pub, club, agency and your local racetrack.
The new Super Multi allows you to select multiple combinations within the same Multi, giving you more ways to win. Plus, you can now include up to five legs of racing or a maximum of five different legs. Add Flexi betting and you have one super-strength Multi.
With a traditional Multi, you only win if all legs are successful. With a Super Multi, you can take "Systems" within your original selections, giving you multiple combinations within the same Multi. This means that you aren't required to win every single leg to get a return, and the more legs that are successful, the more times you win.
System betting allows you to take different combinations across your selected legs. Use the system functionality to hedge against an unexpected result or give yourself the chance to win more if all legs are successful. The easiest way to think of the system number is the minimum number of legs that your bets must be successful to get a return.
If you take a Super Multi with four legs and choose a System 2, at least two legs must be successful for you to collect. By marking the System 2, you will receive all possible "two leg" combinations from your four selections.
That's a total of six separate mini bets.
Leg 1 into 2 |
Leg 1 into 3 |
Leg 1 into 4 |
Leg 2 into 3 |
Leg 2 into 4 |
Leg 3 into 4 |
COMBINATIONS = 6 |
If you also wanted to take the four-leg all-up, you would simply mark the System 4 box as well as the System 2. When System 1 is marked, individual win bets will be placed on each leg.
You can place a Super Multi at any NSW or Victorian TAB by filling in the new Super Multi ticket or by using the EBT. The Super Multi is also available online at our website. By placing the bet online you will be able to take advantage of several additional features which allow you to customise your bet.
As Super Multi is Flexi enabled, you can mark as many Systems on the one ticket as you like. The computer then automatically splits your investment across all combinations giving you an equal percentage of the dividend for each combination.
Leverage your knowledge of racing and sports by including them both in the same bet. The Super Multi allows you to add up to five legs of fixed-odds thoroughbreds, harness, or greys to a bet up to a combined maximum of five (5) legs.
The table below helps you to work out how many combinations exist within your bet. The column on the left indicates the number of selections in your bet whilst the system number along the top is the number of legs you want to take together. From the example, there are six "doubles" or System 2's in a 4-leg bet.

A TAB Super Multi can be made up of between a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of five (5) different fixed odds sport or racing options. Each of these is referred to as a leg with one selection required for each leg. Sport and racing fixed odds options are now permitted in the same Multi. However, you may only include a maximum of five (5) racing legs in any Super Multi.
The minimum investment for a TAB Super Multi is $1 and the bet can be placed via the Self-Service Terminal (SST) or by using the Super Multi betting cards available in-store.
The majority of TAB Sportsbet betting options will be allowed in a TAB Super Multi, however some options will be excluded from either single betting or multiple betting. If so, TAB will identify single only markets for your information.
Only fixed odds racing win bets can be included as a racing leg.
TAB will reject any TAB Super Multi that includes two betting options that relate to the same event (e.g., Parramatta to win & Clint Gutherson to score first try) and bets that combine a futures market (Winner of the NRL competition) with a current market (Roosters to beat Dragons.) TAB may also reject a Multi if there is a significant period (from as little as two weeks) between two legs in the same bet.
