You can access our ‘take a break’ feature and temporarily lock/suspend your account by following a few simple steps at tab.com.au or on the TAB app.

When you ‘take a break’:
- You will not be able to log in to your account, including to withdraw funds, for the duration of your break.
- Pending bets will remain active in your account
- All marketing notifications from TAB will stop within 24 hours
- You will not receive a notification when your ‘take a break’ ends.

Access ‘take a break’ on the TAB app
To access ‘take a break’ on the TAB app:
- Log in to your account.
- Tap the ‘More’ menu in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’.
4. On the ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’ screen, tap ‘Take a Break’.
5. On the ‘Take A Break’ screen, select the period you want to take a break for (you can select a period of up to 6 months).
6. Read and accept the conditions that apply to taking a break by ticking each checkbox, then tap ‘Start Break’.
7. Review the details of your break, then tap ‘Confirm’.
8. If you confirm that you want to take a break, a confirmation screen with details of your break will appear.
You’ll also receive an email confirming the details of your break.

To access our ‘take a break’ feature at tab.com.au:
- Log in to your account.
