TAB Sportsbet applies common rules of sports betting, including All-In betting. All-in Betting provides that, unless agreed in writing by TAB and the customer, any bet made on a competitor or team in a Sports Betting Event where that competitor or team is scratched, withdrawn, disqualified or balloted out from that Event shall stand and no refund shall be made.
TAB Sportsbet shall at it's sole discretion make the following refund allowances in relation to individual group markets:
1. If the group contains 8 or more quoted contingencies, customers will now receive a refund on any nominated player that does not participate in the match or event.
Example: In 1st Try Scorer betting for the NRL, where there are 35 quoted players (including the Players Not Quoted option), if a nominated player is withdrawn late from a game due to injury or any other reason, the customer will be entitled to a refund.
2. If the group contains 7 or less quoted contingencies, the market will at all times remain all-in and no refunds will be offered.
Example: In Top Australian betting in a golf event, where there are 6 quoted players, if a nominated player is withdrawn late from a game due to injury or any other reason, the customer is not entitled to a refund.
The following exceptions will apply:
A. Betting on Horse, Harness and Greyhound Racing events are not covered by this Policy. Existing conditions as set out in the TAB Sportsbet Rules will continue to apply.
B. Betting on Racing "Jockey Challenge" betting options will remain All-In regardless of the number of competitors listed.
C. Betting on the winner of Tennis Tournaments will remain All-In unless otherwise stated.
All investments will continue to be refunded on betting events where this condition is stated. Examples are "3 balls" (Golf), Most Points (Basketball) and Player Head to Head betting options (Rugby League and Golf).
The smallest amount a customer can spend on a TAB Sportsbet bet is one dollar ($1.00).
The closing time of betting depends on the type of event:
