General: To the extent of any inconsistency between these Esports Betting Terms and Conditions and the TAB Sportsbet (NSW) Betting Rules, these Esports Betting Terms and Conditions prevail.
Official Results: Unless agreed otherwise by a duly authorised TAB Sports Betting Officer and the customer at the time of making the declared events bet, all bets will be settled upon event completion and in accordance with the official results declared by the relevant governing body.
Incomplete Events: If the event does not reach full completion and or no official result is declared, all bets not already determined when the match is terminated are deemed void and are to be refunded.
Disqualification, Retirement and Abandonment: If the event does not reach full completion due to Player/Team disqualification, retirement or abandonment, and or no official result is declared, all bets not already determined when the match is terminated are deemed void and are to be refunded.
Walkover and Game or Map Advantage: If the event does not reach full completion due to a Player/Team awarded a walkover or game or map advantage, and or no official result is declared all bets not already determined when the match is terminated are deemed void and are to be refunded.
Suspension and Postponement: If the event is postponed prior to commencement or commences but:
a. is not played to completion within 3 calendar days from the official scheduled start time, all bets on the event will be refunded; or
b. is rescheduled and concludes within 3 calendar days from the rescheduled start time, all bets will stand.
Map Changes: If the official event format including listed number of games, maps or rounds is changed (Best of “X”), all bets on the event will be void.
Disconnection and Replay of Game, Map or Round: All bets will be refunded in the case of a game, map or round being disconnected or replayed. However, this does not apply in the case of a glitch or bug where the game, map or round resumes from when it was interrupted due to the glitch or bug.
Draw, Tie or Dead Heat: Unless agreed otherwise by a duly authorised TAB Sports Betting Officer and the customer at the time of making the declared events bet, where the draw or tie option is not offered the result will be determined based on the official declaration that may include extra games, maps or rounds. In the event a draw is declared, dead heat rules shall apply.
Player or Team Changes and Replacement: If a player withdraws prior to the start, all bets on the player will be void. If there is a change of players within the team, as replacement or stand-in, bets on the team stand. If team name changes (eg. sponsorship change) with no change in the roster, all bets on the team stand.
Change of Venue: If an esports match venue is changed but is played to completion within 3 calendar days from the original scheduled start time and official results are declared, all bets stand.
Futures and Outrights: Unless agreed otherwise by a duly authorised TAB Sports Betting Officer and the customer at the time of making the declared events bet, all-in betting applies to all bets on futures and outrights.
