You’re one of the first to experience TAB’s new Next-Gen self-service terminals. We’re trialling these terminals at selected NSW venues before they roll out officially from July 2026.

 

A few things you need to know:

Cash Out for Live Betting

• Cash Out for Live Betting is currently unavailable. We're working to fix this issue to ensure you can access Cash Out for Live Betting each time you use the terminal.

• Cash Out remains available for all other bet types

System Multi Bets

• System Multi Bets is unavailable while the terminal is in trial mode

• You will be able to place a System Multi Bet on the Next Gen self-service terminals from July 2026

Availability of selected Tote Markets

• You might notice that selected International and Domestic race meetings for Tote Markets appear greyed out and marked as 'N/A'

• Use the TAB app if you want to place a bet on a Tote Market that is not available on the Next Gen self-service terminal

Placing a Parlay or Trackside Bet

• You can place a Parlay and Trackside bet via the Next Gen self-service terminal.

• While we're in trial, you'll only be able to place those types of bets on the self-service terminal, not via the venue's TAB operator.

Three venues in New South Wales are taking part in the Next Gen self-service terminal trial:

• The Bristol - 81 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000

• Hotel CBD - 52 King St, Sydney NSW 2000

• Granville Hotel - 10 Good St, Granville NSW 2142
