Setting a maximum bet cost can help you to avoid accidentally submitting higher stakes than you’d like to when placing a bet.
When you set a maximum bet cost, it will apply to fixed odds and totes bets placed via the website or TAB app only.
If you try to submit a bet that exceeds your maximum bet cost via the website or TAB app, you’ll receive an alert on the bet confirmation screen.
When you set a maximum bet cost, you can change it at any time.
To set a maximum bet cost using the TAB app:
- Log in to your account.
- Once logged in, tap the ‘More’ menu in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Select ‘My Account’.
4. Tap ‘Bet Preferences’.
5. Tap ‘Maximum Bet Cost’.
6. Enter a maximum bet cost and then tap ‘
Confirm’.
To set a maximum bet cost at
tab.com.au:
- Log in to your account.
- Select the menu in the top left corner of the screen.
3. On the drop-down menu that appears, select ‘My Account’. Then, in the menu that appears when you select ‘My Account’, scroll down and select ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’.
4. On the ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’ page, scroll down to ‘Maximum Bet Cost’.
5. Untick the checkbox next to ‘I do not want to set a Maximum Bet Cost’.
6. Enter a maximum bet cost.
7. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select ‘Update Preferences’ to save and apply your maximum bet cost.
