Check & collect is a feature that allows you to scan a TAB retail ticket to check the status of your wager. If the wager is successful, then you can deposit the winnings from the TAB retail ticket directly into your account from your mobile using the TAB App.
Only available within the latest version of the TAB iOS App and Android application.
To access this feature, navigate to the Account section, select the "Check & Collect" item from the menu to launch the feature.
Position your phone over the retail ticket and wait for the ticket to scan and return a status message.
If it's a winning ticket, you'll receive a message showing the ticket value and accompanying serial number.
If you're a new customer then tap on the "Join & Deposit" button and follow the prompts to join and deposit the funds into your new TAB account (note that you will be unable to withdraw these funds until your identity has been verified).
If you're an existing customer then tap on the "Deposit Winnings" button and follow the prompts to deposit the funds into your existing TAB account.
You'll receive a confirmation message once the funds have been successfully deposited in your account.
If you'd like to continue to scan more tickets, tap "new scan" and repeat the process. It's that easy!
You do not have to be an existing TAB account holder to check your ticket. However, you will need to download the TAB iOS App or Android App. If you scan your betting ticket and it is a winning ticket, you will have the option to deposit your winnings into your TAB account. If you're not an existing TAB account holder, you can quickly join TAB and deposit your funds.
The full winnings from the TAB ticket can only be deposited once to an account. An error message will be returned immediately if the ticket has already been scanned and funds deposited. Refer to terms & conditions.
You can check and collect both Fixed Odds and Tote wagers. This feature is not available for Trackside tickets, Vouchers with a PIN, Tickets bought via an operator on-course, or Cashed Out Tickets.
Currently Check & Collect is only available to ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, TAS, and VIC account holders. In addition, the feature cannot be used across jurisdictions to collect winnings. For example, you reside in NSW, you purchased the ticket in NSW and you attempt to redeem into a VIC account.
