It only takes a few minutes to open an account with Tabcorp and start betting online. Follow these simple steps to get started.

1. Create an account

Go to tab.com.au (opens in a new window), select Join Now (opens in a new window) and complete the online customer registration process.

2. Set your PIN, password and deposit limit

You will be asked to choose an internet password and 4-digit PIN, then you will automatically receive your new 8-digit Account Number enabling you to begin placing bets during our operating hours (opens in a new window).

Please keep your account number, PIN and password safe. If you forget your account details, we have account retrieval and password reset services available.

Password selection

Your password must be a minimum of 8 alpha-numeric characters (no spaces allowed).

PIN selection

When selecting your 4-digit PIN, the following combinations are not allowed:

• All the same number, for example 1111 or 9999.
• Ascending number sequences, for example 1234 or 6789.
• Descending number sequences, for example 9876, 4321 or 6543.
• Aspects of your date of birth, as shown in the table below (d = day, m = month, y = year).

Set deposit limit

You have the option to set a Deposit Limit, which allows you to manage the maximum amount you are able to deposit into your betting account over a period of time. For more information about Deposit Limits, click here.

3. Verify your account

In line with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, you cannot open or access a TAB account without verifying your identity. A successful verification may occur automatically when you sign up with your personal details, or you may be required to provide further information to verify your identity.
