PayID lets you instantly and securely deposit money from your bank account into your betting account.
To make a PayID deposit, your bank account must be held in the same name as your TAB account.
The minimum PayID deposit is $2.
Please note:
• PayID deposits are available to account holders in NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD, TAS, and NT. This service is currently unavailable to account holders in SA.
• In most cases, PayID deposits are processed instantly. However, there may be occasions where your funds are delayed. This can happen if your bank undertakes a security check on your PayID transaction. Please contact your bank if there is an issue with a deposit using PayID.
• If you wish to withdraw funds that have not been turned over (i.e. not been used for wagering), please contact our Customer Service Team on 131 802 to submit your request.
To make a PayID deposit on the TAB app:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Tap you balance/the header at the top of the page to reveal a drop-down menu then tap ‘Deposit’.
3. Tap ‘PayID’ as your payment method.
4. Copy the PayID email shown on the screen. Your PayID email address will always remain the same and can be saved as a ‘payee’ in your banking app. A copy of your PayID email address can be found at any time on the deposit page.
5. Open your bank’s app or internet banking website and select pay to PayID email.
6. Paste the PayID email and enter the amount you want to deposit.
7. Once you have completed the payment, return to your TAB account where the funds should have been instantly credited to your balance. We suggest saving your unique PayID in your banking app for faster top-ups in the future.
To make a PayID deposit on the TAB website (tab.com.au):
1. Log in to your account.
2. Select your current account balance in the top right corner of the screen which will open the side menu
3. Select ‘Deposit’.
4.Select ‘PayID’.
5. Copy the PayID email shown on the screen. Your PayID email address will always remain the same and can be saved as a ‘payee’ in your banking app. A copy of your PayID email address can be found at any time on the deposit page.
6. Open your bank’s app or internet banking website and select pay to PayID email.
7. Paste the PayID email and enter the amount you want to deposit.
8. Once you have completed the payment, return to your TAB account where the funds should have been instantly credited to your balance. We suggest saving your unique PayID in your banking app for faster top-ups in the future.

2. Why hasn’t my PayID deposit arrived?
a. In most cases, PayID deposits are processed instantly. However, there may be occasions where your funds are delayed. This can happen due to reasons such as:
i. Banks sometimes complete security checks on PayID transactions. Contact your bank if there is an issue with this deposit using PayID.
ii. The deposit you’re attempting exceeds your set deposit limit, and the funds will be returned to your bank account.
iii. PayID deposits are only accepted from a bank account registered in the same name as your TAB account.
3. Does TAB charge a transaction fee for PayID deposits?
a. TAB does not charge any transaction fees for PayID deposits. However, your bank or financial institution may apply fees for account-related transactions or fund transfers. For more information, please contact your bank or financial institution directly.
4. Is there a minimum amount I can deposit for PayID?
a. The minimum PayID deposit is AUD $2.00.
5. What Financial Institutions support PayID?
a. Most major Australian banks support PayID. Check to see if your financial institution offers PayID here.
6. Do bank gambling blocks apply for PayID?
a. No, bank gambling blocks do not apply to PayID transactions, as they are processed using your BSB and account number rather than your card details. To help manage your spending, consider setting up a deposit limit. Learn how to set a deposit limit here.
7. Can I use the same PayID every time?
a. Yes, your PayID is unique to your account and will always remain the same. Once you’ve made your first deposit you can save it in your banking app and use it for future top ups.
8. Do I need to log in to the TAB app or website to make a PayID deposit?
For your first deposit using PayID you will need to login to your TAB account in order to obtain the PayID email address.
After your first deposit, however, you will not need to log in to make a deposit as you can save your unique PayID email address in your banking app. This way, you can make future deposits quickly and easily directly from your banking app.
