A Doubles bet is lost when:
- both selections (first and second legs) lose
- first leg selection wins and second leg selection loses
- first leg selection loses and second leg selection wins, or
- horses are bracketed and one bracketed horse runs and loses and the other is scratched (Horses are only bracketed in the Feature Doubles.
