Select the 'Standout' checkbox before making your runner selections. A maximum of 1 runner can be selected as a standout for every bet type (except Quinella betting where multiple standouts are allowed). The standout selection is made in the 1st column with other selections in the 2nd column.

 

Standout Quinella

This is a bet where you combine the runner(s) you believe will win or come second (your standout(s)) with a number of runners to finish either first or second. To win, your standout runner(s) must finish in the first or second position with any of your other runners filling either first or second position.

The cost of this standout Exacta is $3 for a $1 investment, much cheaper than a 4 runner boxed Exacta.
 

Standout Duet

This is a bet where you combine the runner(s) you believe will finish in the first three placings (your standout(s)) with a number of runners to finish in the remaining placings. To win, your standout runner(s) must finish in the first, second or third position with any of your other runners filling at least one of the remaining positions.

The cost of this standout Duet is $3 for a $1 investment, much cheaper than a 4 runner boxed Duet.
 

Standout Exacta

This is a bet where you combine the runner you believe will win (your standout) with a number of runners to finish second. To win, your standout runner must finish in the first position with any of your other runners filling second position.

For example, if you combine 1 as a standout to finish first, with 2, 3 and 4 to finish second, you receive three combinations from which you can win the Exacta: 1-2; 1-3; 1-4.
The cost of this standout Exacta is $3 for a $1 investment, much cheaper than a 4 runner boxed Exacta.

Standout Trifecta

This is a bet where you select a runner that you believe will finish first (a standout) with two or more other runners to finish second and third in any order.

For example, if you combine runner 1 to finish first with runners 2, 3 and 4 to finish second and third, you receive six combinations from which you can win the Trifecta: 1-2-3; 1-2-4; 1-3-4; 1-3-2; 1-4-2; 1-4-3
The cost of this standout Trifecta is $6 for a $1 investment, much cheaper than a 4 runner boxed Trifecta.
 

Standout First 4

This is a bet where you select a runner that you believe will finish first (a standout) with three more runners to finish second, third and fourth in any order.

For example, if you combine runner 1 to finish first with runners 6,8 and 9 to finish second, third and fourth, you receive six combinations from which you can win the First 4: 1-6-8-9; 1-6-9-8; 1-8-9-6; 1-8-6-9; 1-9-6-8; 1-9-8-6.
The cost of this standout First 4 is $6 for a $1 investment, much cheaper than a 4 runner boxed First 4.
