WHAT IS A TREBLE?
A Treble is an exotic bet type that requires you to pick the winner of three nominated races using any amount of selections (limited to field size) in each leg. It helps to think of it as a Quaddie with one less leg.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PUT ON A TREBLE?
The minimum amount you can bet is 50c. Using Flexi betting, you can nominate the amount you want to spend in total and TAB will calculate the percentage of the bet that you have paid for (this percentage is what the bet would normally cost if you placed the bet for $1). If successful, you will collect that percentage of the dividend.
HOW MANY RUNNERS CAN I TAKE IN EACH LEG OF THE TREBLE?
The minimum is one runner per leg. However, you can select as many runners per leg as you want, but the more you choose, the more you will have to pay for a full unit.
HOW DO I PLACE A TREBLE?
Visit the race on the TAB app,
TAB.com.au or an EBT, and select “TREBLE”. Pick the runners you like and submit your bet.
CAN I PLACE A TREBLE AT THE TRACK?
Yes! You can head to the on-course terminal and request a TREBLE as you would for any other bet.
IS TREBLE AVAILABLE TO ALL CUSTOMERS?
TREBLE is available on racing for S-TAB, NSW TAB and UTAB customers.
IS TREBLE AVAILABLE ON ALL RACING CODES?
Yes! Treble is available on Thoroughbreds, Harness and Greyhound races.
WHAT IF ONE OF MY RUNNERS IS SCRATCHED?
You will receive the nominated substitute in place of the scratched runner.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY TREBLE DIVIDEND IN A DEAD HEAT?
Two dividends are produced, with the pool divided evenly between the winning combinations to then calculate the winning dividends.
HOW MANY STARTERS IN A RACE ARE REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO PLACE A TREBLE?
A minimum of two runners must be in the race.
CAN I USE MY MULTIPLIER ON MY TREBLE?
