Account Code

You will need to key in your 3-digit Account Code each time you log in to RaceTAB. Your Account Code is used to verify that you are allowed to access the specified account.

Account Number

This is your 6-digit customer number that appears on your TAB Account Card. It is the same customer number used to access RaceTAB.

All Bets Total

ABT

A computer total of all the bets that a customer places

Approximate Dividends

The estimated returns for a particular bet type at a given time before race jump

Bet Intercept

The Caulfield and Melbourne Cup Feature Double is available before the Caulfield Cup when up to 50 horses are still eligible for the Melbourne Cup

Horses or dogs are boxed for the Feature Double so that more than 24 horses in the Foster's Melbourne Cup can be included on the bet ticket

A Web Browser is an application used to browse the Internet, the most common types being, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Claim

A customer's request or demand for payment in certain circumstances

When you log into RaceTAB, a cookie will be sent to your browser by the TAB Limited Web server. This cookie will only be used to confirm your identity for the duration of your betting session. Cookies are a vital element in the security of RaceTAB online and Internet betting is not possible if you disable cookies on your browser. We are only using cookies for security reasons.

Correct Weight

After a horse (galloping) race, the jockey is weighed to ensure that the weight allocated to the horse before the race is the weight that the jockey carried during the race. In harness racing, the driver is not weighed and the term used is All Clear.

Pari-Mutuel Pool

Money invested on an event to successfully predict the outcome of a particular contingency (less any amounts deducted as commission). The pool is divided amongst people who successfully predict the outcomes
