1. What is international pooling?
Pooling of totalisator pools is the process where one or more totalisator organisations, combines their wagering pool with another. This has been occurring in Victoria for many years, as Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory pool most of their totalisator pools with our Victorian totalisator to form SuperTAB.
International pooling extends this process of combining wagering pools to include international totalisator organisations.
Races that have international pooling display the following message below:

2. How do customers know when an international totalisator is pooling with SuperTAB or NSWTAB?
When international totalisator pools are being pooled into SuperTAB or NSWTAB, the symbol '>' is displayed next to the totalisator pool total.
When SuperTAB or NSWTAB is pooling into an international totalisator on international racing, the symbol '<' is displayed next to the totalisator pool total.
By placing your mouse pointer over the '<' symbols you can display the popup tag that will inform you who the 'Host' ('<') totalisators are.

3. How will international pooling benefit customers?
If you're placing a bet into a pool with international pooling you can bet with more confidence as bigger totalisator pools will lead to fewer fluctuations in dividends. This will give more certainty to customers.
