An ‘Each Way’ bet allows you to bet that a runner will either win or place. If your runner wins, you’ll collect both the ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ dividend. If your runner finishes 2nd or 3rd, you’ll collect the ‘Place’ dividend only.

Placing an ‘Each Way’ bet on the TAB app
1. Log in to your account.
2. Tap on the ‘Racing’ icon on the menu at the bottom on the screen.

3. On the ‘Racing’ page, select the day/date you want to view races for (i.e., select ‘Next to Go’, ‘Today’, ‘Tomorrow’ or a specific date) and select a race meeting.

4. On the race meeting page, select a race.
5. On the race page, ‘Win/Place’ will automatically be selected as the bet type. So, simply select the runner you want to place and ‘Each Way’ bet on.
Please note:When selecting your runner, you can choose to make a ‘Fixed Odds’ bet or a ‘Tote’ bet. To make a ‘Fixed Odds’ bet, select your runner by selecting the odds in the ‘Fixed’ column. To make a ‘Tote’ bet, select your runner by selecting the odds in the ‘Tote’ column.

6. Once you’ve selected your runner, enter a stake in both the ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ fields and tap ‘Place Bet’.
Tip! If you don’t want to bet straight away, tap ‘Add to Bet Slip’ instead of ‘Place Bet’.
7. Review the details of your bet and tap ‘Confirm Bet’.

Placing an ‘Each Way’ bet at tab.com.au
1. Log in to your account.
2. Select ‘Today’s Racing’.

3. Select your preferred racing code (i.e., thoroughbred, greyhounds, or harness) and the race you want to bet on.
4. Win/Place is the default bet type. An ‘Each Way’ bet is a type of ‘Win/Place’ ‘Each Way’ bet. So, to place an ‘Each Way’ bet, simply select the runner(s) you want to bet on.

5. Once you’ve selected the runner(s) you want to bet on, add a bet amount in both the ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ fields. Then, select ‘Bet Now’.
6. Review the details of your bet, then select ‘Submit’.
