Win bet: Dead Heat

The Win pool is split and dividends are paid to both winners, the amount being determined by the odds at the start of the race. There will also be normal Place dividends for both dead heaters and the third placed runner. The Win dividends cannot be less than a customer's bet.

Place bet: Dead Heat for First

Three Place dividends are paid. There will be:

• a Place dividend for both first place winners and
• a Place dividend for the remaining place runner

Place bet: Dead Heat Second

Three Place dividends are paid. There will be:

• a Place dividend for first place winner and
• a Place dividend for both second place winners

Place bet: Dead Heat for Third

Four dividends are paid. There will be:

• a Place dividends for first place winner
• a Place dividend for second place winner and
• a Place dividend for each of the third place winners.

The third Place pool is split and appropriate dividends are paid for both third place winners. The third Place dividends cannot be less than your bet.
