The handicap is a number which indicates how many metres back from the starting tape a runner must start.
For example, CLASSIC SNIP (10) indicates that this runner will start 10 metres back from the tape.
Standing start races are indicated by the abbreviation 'SS' appearing in the meeting name.
For example, TRIOS TABARET T1/BTR TROT HCP SS 2575m.
