When you open a TAB account betting account, you can choose ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS or VIC as the regulatory jurisdiction for your account.
The location/regulatory jurisdiction of your account determines the prices, pools and bet types that are available to you and the state/territory regulations that apply to your account. For tote betting:
- NSW betting accounts provide access to the standalone NSW pool
- ACT and VIC betting accounts provide access to the SuperTAB pool
- NT, QLD, SA, and TAS accounts provide access to the UTAB pool.
Once selected, the regulatory jurisdiction for your account cannot be changed.
To view which regulatory jurisdiction applies to your account on the TAB app:
- Log in to your account.
- Once logged in, tap the ‘More’ menu in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Select ‘My Account’.
4. Select ‘Jurisdiction’.
Once you’ve selected ‘Jurisdiction’, you’ll be able to see which regulatory jurisdiction applies to your account.
