A deposit limit allows you to manage the maximum amount you are able to deposit into your betting account over a period of time. You have the option to set a 1, 7, 14 or 28 day deposit limit. The amount should be set in line with your personal circumstances and should only be what you think you can afford to bet with.
You can change your deposit limit at any time in the ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’ section in ‘My Account’ either on the app or website. You can also email us at support@tabcorp.com.au or call us on 131 802. Any decreases will take effect immediately, but increases or removals of the deposit limit will take effect after 7 days.
Setting a deposit limit using the TAB app
To set a deposit limit using the TAB app:
- Log in to your account.
- Once logged in, tap the ‘Account’ menu in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Tap ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’.
4. To set the deposit limit, tap on ‘Deposit Limit’.
5. Enter a deposit limit and select the period you want it to apply to (e.g., 1 day, 7 days, 14 days or 28 days). Then, tap ‘Set deposit limit’ to save and apply your deposit limit.
Setting a deposit limit at tab.com.au
To set a deposit limit at tab.com.au:
- Log in to your account.
- Select the menu in the top left corner of the screen.
3. On the drop-down menu that appears, select ‘My Account’. Then, scroll down and select ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’.
4. On the ‘Responsible Gambling Tools’ page, scroll down to ‘Deposit Limit’ and untick the checkbox next to ‘I do not want to set a Deposit Limit’.
5. Enter a deposit limit and select the period you want it to apply to (e.g., 1 day, 7 days, 14 days, or 28 days).
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select ‘Update Preferences’ to save and apply your deposit limit.
